Freezing Pie Crust
I love the taste of homemade pie crust but the convenience of a frozen crust that I can just pull out, thaw and bake. What’s a girl to do? Make some homemade pie crust that can easily be frozen of course
Keep a few of these in your freezer and you’ll be able to whip up a pie in no time at all as a special Sunday treat or if you are having guests. When you’re ready to bake, just get out your crust, thaw a bit and roll it out. Then just follow your favorite pie recipe or just fill it with some pudding and fresh fruit. Since there is no sugar in the crust, this recipe is also perfect for making savory tarts and quiches. Believe me, once you try this, you’ll never go back to store bought pie shells again.
